How NFFN begins
NFFN begins on the night of Valentine’s Day-part of the reason Helen is so broken up, but also embarrassed about it. Roxy, Jessica and Helen are all single, celebrating an anti-St. Valentine’s Day massacre with bloody mary’s. Maybe show the earlier stuff, when they are just hanging out and it’s not so intense? Lose the “everything is fucked” intro, but maybe that’s okay. Too much self-pity right off the bat. Instead, show Helen being attractive, witty, fun. Establish the dynamic of the thee female friends.
The next day is the incident in Helen’s section, when she prevents Michael’s crucifixion at the hands of Peak and Maria Gatellis.
