This might actually not suck horribly. In addition to being a rock god, Josh Homme is a funny guy. He and Sarah Silverman made this bizarre comedy short that was included on the bonus DVD with "Lullabies to Paralyze" in which Sarah plays a therapist reviewing Josh's mental state for QotSA's record label, Interscope. Josh Homme more than held his own with professional fumy woman Silverman, so I could see a future in acting for him. I mean, he was basically playing himself, but as anyone who's seen a movie with Madonna in it, sometimes just playing yourself can be the hardest thing in the world.My QOTSA insider told me: "The boys have been writing ideas for a film after meeting with a major Hollywood studio. It's a really funny project. It's going to be the new SpongeBob SquarePants or Ren And Stimpy."
