Pitchfork: Pollard Preps Self-Released EP, LPs for Merge, Ipecac
First off, Silverfish Trivia is now coming out in the spring, not fall:
Well, Silverfish Trivia has evolved into a 22-minute, seven-song mini-LP, and it's due April 17 on Pollard's new label, Prom Is Coming.
Now that that album is coming out earlier, he already has his next solo release slated:
28 more songs have already been written for Pollard's next full-length solo album, tentatively titled Standard Gargoyle Decisions and penciled in for a September release on Merge.
Will western civilization eventually collapse due to the fact that 100% of its resources will be devoted to keeping up with Robert Pollard's profligacy? It's entirely possible.
